Bells of Peace Fundraiser!

Help us ring the bells of peace this Saturday, June 4!

The Oakland Peace Center is a GORGEOUS building in which AMAZING work is happening, but el Nino has shown us a real challenge: our historic belltower is a historic challenge. We'll need at least $25,000 to get all the way up there and seal the leaks which are currently damaging three of our public spaces, a community kitchen and three of our partners' office and classroom spaces! We're counting on this fundraiser to get us at least $5,000 of the way there!

We need your help to preserve this space, preserve its magnificence and make it safe and welcoming for the over 83,000 people the Oakland Peace Center partners serve each year.

Join us for either a tour of the historic building or a reception featuring the amazing catering skills of several of our partner organizations: fabulous food with a heart for social justice. We'll be featuring the art work of community youth and partying for peace!

Thanks in advance for your support of the Oakland Peace Center's work for peace and preservation.

Oakland Peace Center
The partners who make up the Oakland Peace Center are working together to create peace by creating opportunity, access and dignity for all people in the Bay Area. Instead of isolation, we engage in co-creation--we're building community by being community.
